Mathematics

KAUTILAYA HOME TUTORS offers support for Mathematics for classes VIIIth to Xth curriculum ,based on the Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation System,

The main objectives of this program is to make the students able to :

Social Studies

Social Studies teaches children their roles and responsibilities particularly in relation to social and civic affairs. It helps students develop critical thinking abilities, prepares them to participate competently and productively as concerned citizens and teaches them to address societal and global concerns using literature, technology and other identifiable community resources. Social studies include history, geography, political science, sociology, economics and civics and it is an integral part in ensuring well-rounded education.

Hindi

Hindi is the second most spoken language in the world after Mandarin Chinese. It’s estimated that nearly half a billion people worldwide speak this wonderful language. The importance of Hindi is one of the many languages in India that is considered to be the national and official language of the northern parts of India. It is the language of the masses particularly in North India and also of general communication and official language of our country.

Sanskrit

This aim means making students understand the language i.e. Sanskrit. The students having learnt Sanskrit for three years at the secondary should acquire ability to understand oral and written Sanskrit. The general objectives of teaching Sanskrit can be envisaged in terms of those abilities. Following are some ofthe general objectives of teaching Sanskrit under receptive aim.

  • Do oral reading with correct pronunciation and with due understanding
  • Comprehend Sanskrit prose and poetry extracts through silent reading
  • Read silently with comprehension and with progressive speed confirming to the standard or stage
  • Know and understand functional grammar
  • To pronounce correctly Sanskrit with proper articulation and intonation
  • Hear and understand the spoken language in the simple form
  • Acquire new vocabulary in Sanskrit.
Expressive aim of teaching Sanskrit:

This aim means making students express their ides in simple Sanskrit. It refers to the development of writing and speaking in Sanskrit. Following are some of the general objectives of teaching Sanskrit under expressive aim.

Students will develop ability
  • To speak the language correctly and clearly
  • To translate from mother tongue into Sanskrit
  • To express simple ideas in correct and simple Sanskrit
  • To write in Devnagari script
  • To sing or recite the verses as per their meters

Cultural aim of teaching Sanskrit:
